yep got it. am curious about the cross in the heart. is that what it is? if so great for you, as as fellow monotheist, a Jew, not so good for me! But I appreciate the love and peace. be well. stay warm.

God has brought us together every time. As you once said to me "the same fire that is in the circle is the same spark in each one of our eye's." One and all, brother, love to all.      Banjo

I hadn't noticed the cross in the heart prior to you pointing it out. Both my grandmothers were Jews, I don't know what that makes me ,but, in discussing it with the current owners of Yasgurs farm it goes "to  every mother a child born" so I guess I am Jewish. I tend towards Buddhism for a long time now, that is more of a study of earthly standing as it pertains to heaven and God. Learning to do well and to do well towards all beings is more to my ability wot with my feeble mind and all. A Buddhost saying goes' to do well to yourself and to do well with others should be your ministry and teacher. Take this with you wherever you go no matter what others, even me, have told you.  Which is to say, finding what works well for you and giving that to your fellow-person should be religion enough, without alot of theosifising.  That said I also tend toward panentheism with an agrarian bent and tend not to try and possess god, from the time that we worshipped each other to we looked up to the mountain unto the Sun and stars and then beyond unto a vast and limited space including in "black holes'' such a strong gravitational pull that it devises our eye's to a minds eye barren of any sight but that which we can percieve throughout our lives and, then, only an instant in time.  Micro-cosms and macro-cosms are in quantum amounts far better thought about by minds much better equipped than mine own and with a much higher degree of discipline that even these humble descriptions cannot attempt to discover the deep love I feel for my fellow human being and others. " For in the light of the fire in the circle we may see the same light in the eye's of those with which we share this flame, and that flame, so small in the eye's  of the others is the very light of idea and infinitilism, finite and magnanimous ,we are made up of the very same things that the stars are made of ."
Zack Howards Bar-Mitzvah was a wonderful affair three or four years ago with his mitzvah being to end world hunger s of many kinds. Temple was in Livingston Manor, N.Y. after which we all went back to Yasgur Road and there entered the barn in which we spent the month prior to that organizing and cleaning it was proven to be a wonderful space in which to sup buffet style of many Jewish dishes and of my favorite "Kasha-varnitchkes"(buckwheat and noodles in a wonderful sauce) being vegetarian I delved perhaps a little too much into that.  We had a rock band from Manhattan and a Jewish folk singer that made Rabbi exclaim that he feels like he was conducting Arlo Guthrie's Bar-Mitzvah.  Zack Howard may be the one (or one of) that inherits Yasgur Farm should something (God forbid) happen to his father. There are four other children,I believe all of  them of Jewish faith, but Zack is the youngest and the one I know the best knowing him 14 of his 17 or 18 years on this earth.  (June 10th was/is his birthday but don't quote me on it. My daughter would know better, ad those two are good freinds, of which I am a single parent, the Howards/Abrahamsons took her in like she was one of theirs).
I do wish you could have made it to the farm when you were in New York, but, understand it is/was a very busy time for all of us.  I did try to get to Woodstock,N.Y. on the Monday that you were there, but,I had to get my daughter started in semester as they started college session on the 20th, I had to get her settled in a new apartment. We used to spend the better part of the summer on the farm.
I think you got that email from Woodstock Nation web-site.
                                                                                                                Peace and Love,
                                                                                                                       Banjo

I do wish there were an address that I could send a government note to to acquire Abigail Yasgurs new book "Max said yes" concerning a time in history of unprecedented cultural exchange . A time marked in my life as my last year in adolescence but in tune enough to realize that Mother Earth was sending a message to perhaps her most conscientious organisms who were doing the most damage to Her. And that, after all these years, 40 of them I thimpk,we couldn't do more than bring the message to the fore that the most damaging emotion we are acting on is greed, for even if it were 100 years the act of greed would be powerful enough to destroy a balance achieved in some 78,000 years it is still just a miniscule blink of the creators eye when one considers that 3 billion years ago the Mother (earth as we know it) was, perhaps just 12 years old. My age. Someone, somewhere had created a table of numercal order that dictated that I was just twelve years old and not of an age to be taken seriously when I perhaps was the one who channeled the thought that we were in a downward spiral as a species even though we occupied the lofty position of being at the top of the food chain. Here we were, at the top of the food chain, and yet still devouring ourselves.
Weren't we the one's most communicative?
  Didn't we establish numerical tables?
Aren't we still saying that we are the most conscientient?
Is it mere consequence that we may be conscripted to consanguinity by connubial connotation. Perhaps Mother Earth just blinked,....,or connived?   ...a connective conjurer of conjunctiva!??!,.  (I read that somewhere).
I am allergic to plastic and , as it turns out, so are most other things. I do hope we consider and adopt another system of trade.
Perhaps I will get this book through thorough osmosis. I shall not bloat.
Someone else from the Woodstock Nation told me that he or she was in whole or in part responsible for coining a phrase not unlike this one, "Trust noone over the age of twelve". (Or was that ten,...,or twenty,...,or thirty,...,surely not forty!).
    'guess who.?!
     amen?   oh, man!                           Peace,
                                                Banjo

If you only knew how long I've been waiting for this. I could've sworn that I asked you already, I guess not!  (I have imagined conversations with you, yes I do admit to a little insanity, just a little, tho').  I'll need this in triplicate and will include  a cover  letter to do so. If you choose to sign all three that would be wonderful? I know that is a very personal request soplease, do what you think best. I know this order will increase by,before or soon after winter solstice. If that is not true then by Spring. (when some others know I've got it they will have to have their own, also). What a wonderful idea you had AND I should tell you that it has been a phenomenal observation of mine that the year after the anniversary of Woodstock that we tend to see the more energetic celebrations take place. Also '74 was probably,on this local scale, the first big celebration after the original, 1984 was great(on the original site, mind you) and I think many will and can agree with me that 1994 was probably the biggest we've had on the original site and of course/coarse(?) we moved to Yasgur Farm in 1996.  2000 was "mudstock" ,but, a great celebration and one that Roy still talks about to me. "98 and '99 was especially phenomaniacal.  I guess what I'm trying to say is 'expect your sales to continue well into the future'. You have invested well.  Thank you.

                                                                                            Peace and Love,
                                                                                               BANJO
                                                                                         aka Ron Philip
P.S. Tuesday, then, as it is 1:49AM on Monday here!  Happy Columbus Day(another one that I don't recognize) the first Earth Day was  April 22, 1971 I thimpk, and well attributed to the hippies in San Fran..  Thanx again for getting back to me so soon.
