Sorry the date taken written in the previous email was written as Saturday 14 April. But the correct date should be Saturday 16 April 2016, 9.45am....I was in such a hurry to get ready for the ICOMOS Malaysia, Children Art Competitionheld yesterday, Sunday 17 April 2016, program starts at 9.00am at the,Balai Seni Visual Kuala Lumpur (Simultaneously held at Melaka and Penang as well..)Anyway, the date written at Picasa Web Albums is correct.Picasa Web Albums, which previously allowed hosting by Yahoo users, is owned by Google.
Yahoo owns Flickr, but Google is now phasing out Picasa Web Albums, resorting to users
to transfer photos to Google Photos. Thus all my photos in web album can now be viewedat Google Photos.Actually I detest Google doing this for lack of privacy....insisting on Picasa Web Albums. But
who am I? Because at Picasa Web Albums, I can control who can view my photos by givingthem the links, or open them to public.I treat Picasa Web Albums as a Picture Blog, or Library, and whether I want to use my photos
for the subdomain blogspot.com, is my prerogative. Although blogspot.com is owned by Google. The same photo above can now also be viewed at Google Photos:I have to find some other ways in storing my photos for privacy.
I find that Flickr is not user friendly for people like me working secretly, "sub-rosa",...and especially unpaid at that...
And, a none smartphone nor app user, still "sub-rosa"...hehe.Maybe I should reconsider naming myself, "Sub-Ros.A"Note*"Sub rosa literally means "under the rose" in New Latin.
Since ancient times, the rose has often been associated with secrecy.
In ancient mythology, Cupid gave a rose to Harpocrates, the god of silence,
to keep him from telling about the indiscretions of Venus.
Ceilings of dining rooms have been decorated with carvings of roses, reportedly
to remind guests that what was said at the table should be kept confidential.
Roses have also been placed over confessionals as a symbol of the confidentiality
of confession.Sub rosa entered the English language in the 17th century, and even before then,
people were using the English version, "under the rose."
Earlier still, unter der Rose was apparently used in Germany, where the phrase
is thought to have originated.unter der Rose,Sub-Ros.A @ WooeR
Hi all,If you guys are like me, often riding the LRT,from Petaling Jaya to Kuala Lumpur....And, in between Kerinchi and Abdullah Hukum stations....you need no stand in ovation ...but...YOU GET TO READ THE MUSICAL SCORE OF "NEGARA KU"!
Taken on Saturday 14 April 2016, 9.45am...whilst running late for the Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) and Digital Photogrammetry talk at BWM.To snap a photo like this one, using an outmoded Nokia N95 in standard mode,I'll still need to adjust speed setting to "sport', ie. for a 1/1000second Exposure Time..!It took me many return rides for one simple shot like this!!BUT ONLY BY LRT RIDES....!Come hop on it, try it...right place, right time....

Next stop? Kg Baru!!!
What a lame design.....if you guys can't design a stunning looking mosque, just build a replica of some of the world's beautiful mosques like Nusrat Djahan Mosque, Copenhagen or Qolsarif Mosque in Russia....MA
