Food Co-op Open House - Thurs Oct 27 @ 7pm
Greetings!
When will the co-op open?
How can I get involved?
What if I just want to shop there and don't have time to volunteer?
How is a food co-op different from a CSA?
Where will it be located?
Are you wondering about the new food co-op that is opening in Queens? Hear about the progress we've made so far including incorporation and bylaws, and how you can help with various committees and fun events in the near future. Please join us for an Open House on Thurs, October 27th from 7-8:30pm at All Saints Church in Sunnyside, 4312 46th Street. Drop in, get your questions answered and meet some of the organizers of the co-op. Hope to see you there!

Sat, Nov 12th - Food For Thought Book Club Meeting
We are reading/discussing "Closing the Food Gap: Resetting the Table in the Land of Plenty" by Mark Winne
Early December - Movie Night
We will have a potluck/cookie swap movie night in early December with a local filmmaker. Details to come!
January 2012
We'll have another Open House meeting and will announce more about the Queens Harvest Food Co-op's new online store a/k/a buying club.
