Would you shop at a food co-op in Queens?
I'm writing to you from the ranks of over 300 volunteers
at the Queens Harvest Food Co-op. You may have already
seen the announcement for our upcoming fundraiser (below).
We've spent countless hours putting together a great event but
our ticket sales have been really s-l-o-w. At this rate, we will not
recoup our investment in the event and the hope of having a
food co-op in Western Queens might be gone forever.
But YOU can help!
Buy a $30 ticket right now:
http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/135245
Even if you can't make it on Nov 17th, show your support NOW to
make this a reality. Proceeds from the event will fund our incorporation,
business plan to attract bigger seed money/investors, and will
subsidize our diverse community outreach efforts. Of course, we hope
that you will buy a ticket
and come--to enjoy a tasting menu from some
of Queens best restaurants, a bar with local beer and wine, and bid
on some of our amazing silent auction items, including broadway tickets,
fancy haircuts, yoga classes, a bicycle, and many other prizes.
Thank you!!!QUEENS EATS
