Green Hills Park Fair and construction update

Hi Friends,

Wanted to share with you an exciting event happening next weekend at Green Hills Park (adjacent to JT Moore Middle School).  The Friends of Green Hills Park is pursuing a similar approach as we have to their neighborhood park, and we have been sharing ideas and enthusiasm.  Please head on out to support their first ever park event, from 4-9 on Saturday, September 17th!

We'll start at 4pm with games, food and drink.  As dusk falls, we'll use a giant screen to show the Pixar  movie "Inside Out."  Here is a list of Festival activities, vendors & sponsors so far:

Woodmont Park Update - Construction on the shade pavilion is proceeding normally.  Right now we are waiting for the concrete footings for posts to cure and specialty hardware to be delivered.  We will keep you updated.  We will be having our very own park party when the shelter is done - if you would like to be part of the planning committee for that, please contact us.
