Mark Your Calendars - Friends of Woodmont Park will be participating in The Big Payback, this Tuesday, May 3rd.  We are excited to announce that your contribution will now be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 overall, between the hours  of 6 - 9 p.m! 

Please take the time now to create an alert on your phone or calendar to donate between 6 and 9 p.m.  Additional prizes from The Big Payback can be won by the highest number of unique donors, not just total dollar amount, so any amount you can give will really help us this day!  Donate anytime on May 3rd, but please try and target 6 - 9 p.m to give Friends of Woodmont Park the greatest chance of additional prizes and the make your dollars double with the matching contribution!

The Big Payback is a community-wide, online giving day hosted by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which takes place just next Tuesday May 3rd.  The 2016 charitable event will help to support our programs as well as celebrate the good work of participating Middle Tennessee non profits, schools and religious institutions.  Last year, the region's generosity was astonishing as our community rallied together to raise more than $2.65 million in 24 hours for 770 area organizations.

We are finishing up the final planning for the new shade pavilion in Woodmont Park.  We will start construction as soon as scheduling allows between the city, contractor and suppliers allow.  We are running into much higher costs than anticipated due to Nashville's red-hot building boom.  Your donation of any amount will help get us over the finish line to complete this long-awaited improvement, and ensure that we build the most beautiful shelter that will only enhance the park and our neighborhood!
