Neighbors,

Happy New Year from Friends of Woodmont Park!  Neighbors are enjoying the park like never before during the pandemic.  

We thought we would share some info from neighbor and park supporter, Judy Wright, about the how's and why's of Metro's recycling program.   The program has been updated due to changes in the markets for recycled materials, so please check it out!  The most common error is putting your recyclables in a plastic bag in the collector bin.  Please, just put your items in the bin LOOSE.  If a plastic bag is in the bin, all those materials will just be put in the landfill/trash when they reach the recycling sorting center.

Thanks for keeping the park clean by trashing the trash, and taking the recycling home to be put in your bin for monthly pick up!
