2022 The Woodlands 'Ten for Texas' needs your help

  Hey there!

Thank you to those that have already registered to help with the Ten for Texas event.

Please be advised that October 8th, 2022 (Saturday), The Woodlands Township's Parks & Recreation, will be hosting the 10 for Texas, which is a ten mile run event (along with two other shorter-distances too).

The course has not been approved as yet, but, previous recent instances of this event have involved an 'out and back' approach to the use of Lake Woodlands Drive, which is where we typically have stationed radio operators at fixed locations, so that in combination with the required law enforcement staff at intersections, helps provide the 'continuous eye-ball coverage' of competitors for this event.

This event is one of the shorter events in our area, so, it's particularly good if you are new to helping support this type of event, as the time commitment is shorter than some of the other events, and almost all assignment are fixed-location, as the township provides the SAG services.

Regardless of your skill and experience level, we need a good sized crew to make our contribution to this event a success.
