Fuji was clear the four times we went buy. Here was a photo I took,
including a bank of solar cells at the bottom:

We bus to Narita from Utsunomiya tomorrow. Will return to the USA
after 33 days in Japan. We had a 21 day JR RailPass and used it a
lot.
