How do midwives on our service provide this?

I have been writing one refill - but some patients have told me the pharmacy requires a waiting period before filling the rx again.

NYS laws say we can write a blank prescription with "EPT" on it - but I have no idea how to accomplish this through Qmed.

Curious to know how others handle this.

I'm not sure if this went through - posting again:

Thanks for everyone's answers! I am posting below:

From Cherida:
I put in for 2
Then I write " partner treatment" in the comment section
I still put in for a refill in case someone throws up

From Rebecca:
I write ept by hand on a separate rx and it gets filled at the same time

From Jen:
I write double the amount under quantity and haven't had any trouble. So just write for 2 azith packets or 16 flagyl for example

From Debbie:
I have my own prescriptions and would write EPT on it but I am sure there is another way to do it.
