Good morning everyone,
I’m wondering what kind of pressure washer you are using to rinse furniture after it comes out of the flow over tank. We need to replace the relic we have. Thanks for any advice!

The one in the Benco book is a 500 PSI, we have an adjustable one we bought locally that is 1300-1500 PSI and it works well.

Thanks for your input, Ken. We’re still looking. We may be able to fix what we have for now, but we’ll see.

Beth, The older power washers that were around a fixed 500 psi level mostly used a very simple Hypro pump. The pumps are still quite widely available in the $200 to $300 range (rebuild kits fo $30 to $50) however, new decent power washers with adjustable pressure are also in that range. I've always found with a lot of older equipment like yours that I end up replacing the pump and then the motor goes like 6 months later, well, false economy. The ability to snap on different spray pattern tips and adjust pressure up and down are very handy when going from more delicate woods and then switching to metals. Newer pressure washers also use less water. Your old one was at like 2 to 2.5 gpm and the new ones are more like 1.5 to 1.9. Never hurts to save some water.....
