Does anyone have a source for the colors of Heywood Wakefield? Wheat, Champagne, Platinum? Kwick Kleen had colors/toners you could spray that were close... But I haven't been able to find anything like it.... There is some guy selling stain and brush able toners....but a lot of work with his products... I have a bedroom set coming up that is Wheat color and I need to color match it again....Any help would be appreciated....

Well, before Dave came up with those I use to make my own. I would use Mohawk's Bleachtone and some universal tint colorants. Back then I would take some pictures of the pieces when they came in and also try to hold back a piece of something so I could make a whole gallon of whatever color I was working with...... I too am finishing up with Dave's stuff as well now, just haven't had any of this furniture in lately. I like Hood's UTC colors for this kind of tinting.
