The M1A3 and M1E3 (with EMCADS Pro system and Tier 3 engine) is a full-size continuous Slurry seal and Micro surfacing paver available for export markets manufactured in the United States, which is ideal for large jobs and those with strict quality requirements.

I have worked on these pavers for many years and I highly recommend. They are very reliable and well built. Bergkamp products are built to produce the best quality product possible. The M1A3 is powered by a 335 horsepower Cummins diesel engine, has a hydrostatic drive system that can be controlled by either of the front driver stations or the rear operator station, and wet disc brakes.

The operator stations are positioned on both sides of the machine and have hand rails to protect the operator. The front dual-driver stations and a detailed instrument panel provide the ability to drive from either side to ensure straight paving lines.

Excellent machines. User friendly. I like that the machine simplified the calibration process which makes it easier for calibration to be performed quickly and accurately. EMCAD system is great for online, to the second, monitoring of materials used and application rate being applied! Great piece of equipment.

All major component clutches, chains and sprockets on the standard M1 have been replaced with direct-drive hydraulics to work with the EMCAD Pro System, reducing the number of wear parts and maintenance points on the machine. The system monitors and adjusts material ratios automatically according to the set points of the ingredients, production control setting and instantaneous feedback from the delivery system sensors to provide consistent mix. Aggregate, asphalt emulsion, water, additive and fines are proportionally delivered and metered according to the set points as per mix design. In addition, it provides real-time production cycle error monitoring and reporting for control components.

Micro PAVER is a microcomputer version of the PAVER Pavement Maintenance Management System. PAVER is a field-tested, validated pavement maintenance management for airports, cities, counties, and military installations which is designed to optimize the funds allocated for pavement maintenance and rehabiliation (M&R). This report discusses the development of the Micro PAVER program and its capabilities in the areas of pavement network inventory, project prioritization, inspection scheduling, determining present and future network condition, determining maintenance and rehabilitation needs, budget planning, and economic analysis. The Micro PAVER technology is based on the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) survey and rating procedure developed at USA-CERL. The PCI, which is a numerical index from 0 to 100, is a measure of the pavement's structural integrity and operational condition and is computed as a function of distress type, severity, and quantity. The PCI provides an objective and consistent measure of pavement condition. Micro PAVER provides data and procedures for practical decisionmaking to identify cost-effective maintenance and rehabilitation needs for roads, streets, parking lots, and airfield pavements. The Micro PAVER system shows the effects on the pavement network of performing no major rehabilitation, allows the determinatin of life cycle costs for various M&R alternatives, and provides a rational and objective basis for evaluating pavement condition and determining M&R needs and priorities.

This HEM slip-form paver is ideal for bridge deck overlays as well as mainline overlay and whitetopping projects. The Overlay Paver is available in standard paving widths from 8' to 14' (custom widths are available upon request).

Vgele will be presenting four new mini road pavers at Bauma 2022 that are able to pave widths ranging from 0.25 to 1.80 m. Both the wheeled paver and the tracked paver will be available with optional diesel or battery-electric drive systems.
