Important Request for a personal favor re Chief Anthony Holt and Wayne State Police - Before, during or after Lisa Young's party tomorrow at 8 PM, Avery and Forest.

I write to ask a personal favor. From my perspective as a resident concerned about preventing crime, our thanking Chief Holt of the Wayne State Police will be the most important thing I have asked of any of you this year. He told me he would try to attend, however, he has a prior personal commitment that takes precedence. He is doing an important favor for a  senior citizen. That is the kind of guy he is, always doing the right thing first. 

At Lisa Young's neighborhood party tomorrow, I want to make sure that we let the Wayne State Police know how much we appreciate them. 

When I have needed them, they have always been there. Those of us who have dealt with him know Chief Holt to be a great human being. I cannot begin to count the number of times he has done things to keep us safer. 

HELP ME FIND SOME WAYS TO LET CHIEF HOLT KNOW HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE HIS GOOD WORK. 

It can be as simple as sending me an e mail that I can forward. It could be signing a certificate of appreciation I will have at the event. You could prepare your own certificate or plaque he could put in his office.  It could be any number of ways. 

The important thing is that we let him and the larger Wayne State community know how much we appreciate the work he does. 

Again, I emphasize that this will be the most important thing I have asked of anyone so far this year.
