From a Woodbridge neighbor for actors or aspiring actors in the neighborhood.   The Detroit Broadcasting Company is a social enterprise of the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit:

The Detroit Broadcasting Co. is looking to cast 6 roles (5 actors), as well as a COSTUME COORDINATOR for their new production of Lambert Street.

We will be inviting people to read for these, PAYING, Non-Union roles all afternoon on Sunday 19th at The Detroit Contemporary Gallery on Bryant & Rosa Parks BLVD. Additional dates and times may be scheduled if necessary.

A new, lengthened version of this play is returning to a different stage after a record-breaking, Late-Night Series run in February 2013 at the PlanetAnt Theatre in Hamtramck, MI.

Directed by Jaclyn Strez, this play / sitcom, (in the style of 'All in the Family') addresses contemporary and relevant Detroit issues.

Rehearsals May 20th - June 13th:
At detroit contemporary & The Hastings Street Ballroom.

Performances June 14th - June 30th at The Hastings St. Ballroom in New Centre on Milwauke.

The Final 2 performances and 1 rehearsal will be filmed and edited to send off to producers at larger studios in L.A., New York, and elsewhere.

If interested, please contact Stage Manager / Properties Master Alexander H. Trice with a desired time to read on Sunday afternoon. ahende...@gmail.com
