The Detroit Broadcasting Co. is looking to cast 6 roles (5 actors), as well as a COSTUME COORDINATOR for their new production of Lambert Street.
We will be inviting people to read for these, PAYING, Non-Union roles all afternoon on Sunday 19th at The Detroit Contemporary Gallery on Bryant & Rosa Parks BLVD. Additional dates and times may be scheduled if necessary.
A new, lengthened version of this play is returning to a different stage after a record-breaking, Late-Night Series run in February 2013 at the PlanetAnt Theatre in Hamtramck, MI.
Directed by Jaclyn Strez, this play / sitcom, (in the style of 'All in the Family') addresses contemporary and relevant Detroit issues.
Rehearsals
May 20th - June 13th:
At detroit contemporary & The Hastings
Street Ballroom.
Performances June 14th - June 30th at The Hastings St. Ballroom in New Centre on Milwauke.
The Final 2 performances and 1 rehearsal will be filmed and edited to send off to producers at larger studios in L.A., New York, and elsewhere.

Costume Coordinator
Duties may include, but are not limited
to:
Assisting the director and playwright with costume choices and
fabric / carpet choices, assisting with the gathering of costume
materials, the application and removal of elderly make-up on actors,
dressing actors, and running costumes for actors.
