Today, one of every three women worldwide—from Pakistan to Mattapan, from New Delhi to Dorchester—will be raped or beaten in her lifetime. That’s ONE BILLION mothers, daughters, sisters, partners, and friends who will experience violence. 

February 8-23, 2013, Bethel AME Church will mobilize women and men in Greater Boston to participate in the global One Billion Rising campaign to end violence against women and girls. 

Please join us for “Raised Up to Rise Up!” to raise awareness, take action and bring healing for ourselves, our community and our world!  

And PASS THE WORD! Somebody you know and love NEEDS to be in this space. Don't leave home without them!
