I was under the impression that you were not coming to the block party as a band...since there were not enough people to represent the band. If this is no longer the case, please let me know so I can be sure to tell you what time to play.

I’m thinking no.  It looks like the melody section is the same as Saturday:  Mitchell.

oh boy….yeah, my roommate Jon Martin is having a going away dinner at the Firehouse tonight.

it works better for me that we cancel rehearsal as well.

This is regarding the block party, which is from 3-8pm this sunday. there is a 6-7 slot open which could be filled by a variety of people/instruments...I am leaving from 6-8 relatively open for the time being so if people want to come and play drums, sing, play other instruments, similar to Saturday at the world cup, you all are welcome to come as band affiliates and do whatever you want!

I hope everyone [that went] had fun on Saturday at the Worcester World Cup! Any pictures/video?! I bet the crowd loved the extra musical entertainment :)

Well folks, I think it's time I bid farewell to the Worcester Ice Cream Social...I'm moving to Somerville in a couple weeks to start grad school and have a full plate until that time, so I probably won't even be able to play at Amanda's block party :( But it's been SO FUN playing with you guys and I'm now inspired to find other groups in my new neighborhood to play my trumpet with!! Thank you for helping me revive that musical piece of my life!

Since I'll be in the area, I'll probably attend the Honk Fest in Somerville in October...so let me know if you guys wanna join me - I may even be able to offer a place to stay (if that's necessary or interests anyone)!

Thanks again for everything and I wish you all the best as the band continues to grow and find its place in the Worcester community.
