Subject: WWC and Ice Cream Social

So we're all go on our end to have Ice Cream Social as part of this year's WWC.    Yeahhhhhhhhhh!

From our end you're all welcome to come on either the Saturday or Sunday .... but of course come as much as you want, Friday night too even!
(Saturday Duck Yao will be serving their vegan extravaganza in case that influences anyone's opinion on which day to come)

So these are the 3 options I mentioned to Scott the other day and ICS could once again choose any 1 or combination.

1/  You're our welcoming band at the front of the rright near Chandler St. and everyone coming into the stadium needs to go right past you. There may even be some shade here if I remember.

2/   We can try to "rope off" an area for ICS in the stands.  We'd love to have you rev up the crowd with some songs *between* the games and flourishes during goals or big plays. That be great.

      Other option:   You folks could pic a spot anywhere in the stands during a game, then during half-time and changeover to next game ICS could go find a different seat in a  different part of the stadium.  I think that would work.  Just wouldn't want the band with the tuba etc plopping down in front of some family with kids and their getting upset. Regardless.. you get that idea.

3/   We have our Kidzone out on the grass.  I'm also trying to figure out if the African drumming circle is coming in from Clinton for out there. But ICS is welcome to parade around out their, stir up the kids or whatever might work.


Could we nail down at least an initial time for ICS to arrive so I can be sure to meet folks and help with any logistics?
We do wristbands to get into the stadium, so I'd either need to get some to one of you beforehand or if everyone was definitely arriving at the same time we could do that as part of the arrival check-in.

The sooner we have something final the sooner we can start promoting and publicizing.
