The guy playing tuba is a music professor and tuba instructor at Brigham Young. I played with him at jazz camp in New Orleans three years ago. He was there to play piano, and I had started playing tuba about 8 months earlier. All week long the “campers” were assigned to different groups every day, so about four days in I was playing tuba with him and five other people. I was awful. Cows would have stampeded.
Anybody else see this in Craigslist a few weeks ago? It’s a Saturday. We could be the background band for the fire twirlers, jugglers, etc. Or we could be the headliners. One practice sometime the week before and we’re good. I’m in, who else? Dean

Who did we have at the soccer game – you, Josh, Mitchell and me? Am I forgetting anyone (Scott, Otto)? Couple of drums, tuba, and some other musical souls reading this email.
I'm into it!
Josh

At the World Cup last year we were allowed to play only during the 5 minute halftime and during the 5 minutes between games. We played one song. Let's find out how much and when we can play this year before we commit. From: "Callista Perry" <callis...@gmail.com>

Hi everyone,Also, another performance opportunity coming up - Worcester World Cup wants us to play (again) at their event in August! I believe its the 8th, 9th, and 10th. I think they should be getting in touch with me or with someone else (possibly Scott? Amanda?) with more details soon! Just wanted to send out a heads-up.Looks like we might want to plan a rehearsal sometime soon....CallistaOn Sun, May 18, 2014 at 3:00 PM, 'chaswagamble' via WONK-Worcester Honk <wonkworc...@googlegroups.com> wrote:

Did anybody get an email back from roller derbeyers? I was talking to someone about it on a Facebook thread
Josh – I got this from Emily Denton through Facebook. I’m not getting the gmail email that she’s talking about.
Hi Dean! This
is EmMalicious with Worcester Roller Derby. Jonathon actually messaged me on
the WAG FB page, about your marching band joining forces for our July 12th
bout. I actually emailed the Worcester Ice Cream Social gmail address. Would
you mind checking that out and getting back to me? If its easier to Facebook, I
can do that too, just let me know.
Thanks,
Em
