Hi Mitchell-

My name is David Blank-Edelman and I'm one of the band coordinators for HONK!. Charlo, another member of the committee, mentioned to me that you hadn't received the invite I sent your band (it came from ba...@honkfest.org). What's kind of weird about this is the service I use for sending out mails for HONK! seems to think you got the mail on 9/9/13 and opened it a bunch of times on that day. Just for my own curiosity, would you mind letting me know if you did get something on that day from us?

in any case, I just wanted to give you an official point of contact for answering questions about HONK! (you can write me, or better yet, ba...@honkfest.org). We'd really love it if you would come, so please let me know if that is indeed something you can/will do as soon as possible.

P.S. Charlo was a little concerned that you didn't have any details re:HONK!, for example, that it is a weekend long commitment (most bands participate from Fri to Sunday and we do have something on the morning of Monday to allow bands to talk to each other about HONK! stuff. Not all bands do all days, but we'd really like it if you would plan for at least Saturday and Sunday gigs).  Are there any details I can provide about the festival? (especially that would encourage you to decide to come?)
