Dear friends,

Greetings from sunny Providence, Rhode Island!!

I'm delighted to send you and official invitation to Pronk! 2013. Once again, after 3 inspirational days of Honking in Somerville and Cambridge, we will bring the party down to Providence for the 5th annual Pronk! festival on Monday, October 14th.

Here is our rough plan for the day:

3-6pm: Performances, activities and fun at India Point Park

6-7pm: Parade down Wickenden St. with bands + community groups

7-10pm: Bands perform by the Fox Point Hurricane Barrier

We will be working with the Honk! Committee to make the Honk -> Pronk transition as smooth as possible, and we are hoping to once again provide a bus for bands to travel from Boston to Providence on Monday afternoon.

Our funds are limited, but we can promise to provide you with healthy meals and humble lodging while you are here. We will do our best to provide small band stipends as well, especially for bands traveling from far off lands! If you are needing/hoping for financial assistance we can also work to help set up additional afternoon performances.

If you are interested in joining us for some/all of Pronk! please RSVP by Friday, September 6th. We can likely accommodate a maximum of 15 bands and if we hear from more than 15, we will likely fill the slots on a first come, first serve basis.

Please provide the following information:

1) Name of your band

2) Number of band members attending

3) Will you need housing?

4) What time could you arrive in Providence?

5) Would you benefit from provided transportation to Providence?

6) Any additional info, thoughts, special needs, etc?

We hope you can join us - Look forward to hearing from you soon!

Love and brass,

Avi David + the PRONK! Committee
