My first painting in nearly five years. It’s hard to believe it’s been so long–life intervened.

This is a little crab we found when we took my grandson (the life that intervened!) to explore tide pools on the beach last summer. I think it’s a juvenile dungeness crab. It was so small and so spunky–a beautiful little beach being!
