New Painting and November Studio Tour

Hello!
After a long period with little time to work on art, I finally finished a new pastel painting of our Lummi Island ferry, the Whatcom Chief:
I've been planning this painting for a long time, so was happy to finally get it created. You can read more about it on my web site:

Also, the Lummi Island Artists Studio Tour is coming up this weekend! This tour will replace the holiday tour previously held in December, so if you want to do some early gift buying, this weekend is your opportunity. I'll be displaying original pastel paintings (including this new one), acrylic paintings, and fine art prints in the Artisan Wine Gallery at 2072 Granger Way (number 9 on the tour map). I'm very excited about showing my work in this space. The Artisan Wine Gallery is a wonderful experience if you haven't been there before (or even if you have!). Stop by on Saturday or Sunday, Nov. 15-16, between 10am and 5pm to taste some wine, artisan cheese, gourmet chocolate, and see my art! It's a complete sensory experience!
