Two New Paintings, and May Studio Tour!

So far, 2009 has been a year of big changes--wonderful changes!

For example, in March, my daughter and I combined households and moved into a beautiful spacious straw bale home here on Lummi Island. One of the many advantages is that I no longer need to find a location to display my paintings during Lummi Island Artists' Studio Tours. I'll be able to show them in my home.

The next Studio Tour will be in just a couple of weeks--May 23 and 24 from 10am to 6pm each day. Details will be on my web site as soon as the artist list is available:

Because of the move and other time constraints, I've had to temporarily set aside the Curry Preserve project. Instead, in preparation for the Studio Tour, I've started a series of smaller paintings (4 x 6 inches or less) called Small Wonders. Some were originally part of the Curry series, but there are new ones as well. Here are the two latest paintings:
