Subject: Major Group for Children and Youth

Hello!

My name is Makala Forster, and my colleague, Addie Newcombe, and I sat in on the Women's Major Group meeting today. Thank you for letting us sit in. There is so much to learn from Women, and we appreciate any chance to share best practices learned.

We have heard from various Major Group members who are interested in learning more about online communications. The Youth Caucus will be holding an open training session in the red couch area on Friday, May 6th, at 1:30pm. Other youth who want to learn more about online tools such as googledocs, piratepad, typewithme, etc. will be attending as well. The goal is to have a one-on-one interactive session for all Major Groups to learn from each other.

We wanted to commend you on your mining statement yesterday. The Mining Working Group of the Youth would be happy to collaborate with the Women, and hope to work with you towards our common, respective, goals at this CSD.

Thank you!
Makala Forster
