Iceni is pleased to announce that applications for the 2016 season are now open.  

Iceni is a London-based women’s Ultimate team and the current National and European champions. Following another great season we are looking to build on our accomplishments and challenge ourselves further in the 2016 season.

Over the coming season we will be focusing on the development of our players, building on our team strategy and creating a competitive environment that will help us to reach our potential together as a team. In view of this, we will be running weekly training sessions in London and will compete in UK, European and potentially a US tournament.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic players who:
- Want to work hard, push their boundaries and improve as ultimate players;
- Are athletic and committed to individual fitness training;
- Can commit to team trainings (2+ weekly trainings both midweek and on weekends);
- Can commit to UK and international tournaments; and
- Have a professional, positive and spirited attitude.

The application process is open to anyone who is interest in playing with Iceni this season, and we welcome applications from both experienced and new players.


TRIAL DETAILS

If you are interested in trying out, please fill out the form below by Friday 1st January. We will let you know whether your application is successful by Sunday 10th January and send out invitations for trials to all successful applicants.

We will be holding a total of three trials over the months of February and March 2016. A first cut will be made between Trial 2 and Trial 3 and we aim to announce the 2016 Iceni roster by Wednesday 9th March 2016.

All trials will be held at Bacon’s College (Timber Pond Rd, London SE16 6AT).

Official Trial Dates:
-  Friday 19 February 19:30 - 22:00 (Trial 1, Bacon's College, London)
-  Sunday 21 February 12:00 - 15:30 (Trial 2, Bacon's College, London)
-  Sunday 6 March 11:30 - 16:30 (Trial 3, Bacon's College, London)

We are also holding open sessions on Friday nights (8pm-10pm) throughout January and February 2016, at Bacon’s College. We encourage trialists to attend these sessions as they will give you exposure to Iceni’s playing style. More information on these session will follow.
