Iceni is pleased to announce that applications for the 2015 season are now open.
Iceni is a London-based women’s Ultimate team and the current European champions. Following another great season we are looking to build on our accomplishments and challenge ourselves further in the 2015 season.
Over the coming season we will be focusing on the development of our players, building our team strategy and creating a competitive environment that will help us to reach our potential together as a team. In view of this, we will be running weekly training sessions in London and will compete in UK, European and US tournaments.
We are looking for committed and enthusiastic players who:
- Want to work hard, push their boundaries and improve as ultimate players;
- Are athletic and committed to individual fitness training;
- Can commit to team trainings (2+ weekly trainings both midweek and on weekends);
- Can commit to UK and international tournaments; and
- Have a professional, positive and spirited attitude.
The application process is open to anyone who is interest in playing with Iceni this season, and we welcome applications from both experienced and newer players.
TRIAL DETAILS
If you are interested in trying out, please fill out the form below by Monday 1 December 2014. We will let you know whether your application is successful by Friday 5 December 2014 and send out invitations for trials to all successful applicants.

We will be holding a total of three trials over the months of January and February 2015. A first cut will be made between Trial 2 and Trial 3 and we aim to announce the 2015 Iceni roster on Tuesday 10 February 2015. All trials will be held at Bacon’s College (Timber Pond Rd, London SE16 6AT).
Official Trial Dates:
- Sat 10 Jan 10am-1pm (Trial 1, Bacon's College, London)
- Fri 6 Feb 8-10pm (Trial 2, Bacon's College, London)
- Sun 8 Feb 2-5pm (Trial 3, Bacon's College, London)
We are also holding open sessions on Friday nights (8pm-10pm) throughout January 2015, at Bacon’s College. We encourage trialists to attend these sessions as they will give you more exposure to Iceni’s structures and playing styles. However, these session are not mandatory and will not form part of the official selection process. More information on these session will follow.
