Thursday Rides & reminder of today's!

10:30am/11am- We will meet at the Dunkin Donuts the address is 5917 State Route 31, Cicero, NY. This may be kind of a trek for people but I promise it is an absolutely beautiful route along the coast of Oneida Lake. It is a flat 14.7 mile loop. Per usual meet at Dunkins for coffee and carbs at 10:30 if you'd like! Course can be found here:
6pm- We will meet at the Erie Canal Park which is at the corner of Rt. 290 & Rt. 257. It will be a very flat 14 miles. The ride map can be found here:
Just a reminder about today's ride: 6pm- Manlius Plaza in front of Kimberly's. Plaza is across from True Value on Rt. 92 at the light that intersects with Enders Rd. Pretty flat 18 miles. We will try to keep a pace about 15mph, but if you'd like to ride today and are unsure of whether or not you can hold that, come out anyway and try it out! I will have directions to pass out.

My weekly drive to Buffalo, usually scheduled for Wednesdays, is on
Thursday again this week. There's no way I could keep up with the fast
pace of this evening's ride, unless it is all downhill. I have gotten
in one ride on my own since the last ride I was able to participate in
-- the one right here in my neighborhood (starting at my neighborhood
Bruegger's several weeks ago now).
I had to miss last Thursday due to a medical appointment, and the
Thursday before that due to a 12:30 phone conference.
Oh well....hope to see you all again soon.
Oh, by the way -- my first cousin's son is currently biking from North
Carolina to Oregon. His trip blog is online at
http://madmax2010.blogspot.com/; I wish I had both his energy, and his
time availability -- he's biking between college graduation and starting
a career in the navy.
