Hi – I am looking for more information on the Women on their Way group in Gettysburg.  What is the purpose / mission of the group?

[A POWER-ful Woman]

Hello Denice,

Women on Their Way - Gettysburg Network Mixers are for professional
women, looking for a different arena to make business connection and
more. We generally meet once a month, allow an introduction to get to
know you, provide an area for a small quantity of marketing materials,
and occasionally have a speaker. Our past speakers ranged from a
Governor of Toastmasters effective speaking skills, the Director of
Adams County Economic Development Corporation on Financing businesses
in Adams County to a Fitness Guru on being physically fit for
business.

We normally meet at the Wyndham Gettysburg, although this summer we
had a couple of excursions, provide Lite Refreshments and a Cash Bar
of sorts and there is a fee of $5 to attend. Some times the amount is
waived based on what is taking place, such as our Holiday event in
which we supported Toys for Tots and our philantropic event during the
Haiti catastrophe.
