Looking for a recommendation!

Dear Women of Faith and Friends,
Women of Faith, an Interfaith Service Community is at an important crossroads. We began as a small group of women from four different faiths planning a service project to support the women and children of Afghanistan. Our first event was in May 2004 and the rest is history.
It’s been suggested and is becoming quite apparent that it is time that we take the big step of applying to become a non-profit organization. This will allow us to apply for grants to help with our mission and offer tax benefits to those who make donations – among other things. I’ve been educated somewhat on what it takes and I’m looking for a recommendation of an attorney or accountant who can direct us on the steps so that we don’t miss anything. Do you have a recommendation? If so, please let me know.
