Greetings WomenNC Supporters –

WomenNC and Meredith College cordially invites you to celebrate the return of the 2012 WomenNC Student Fellows from their intensive week actively participating at the United Nations 56^th Commission on the Status of Women, in New York City, February 25-March 3^rd.  The WomenNC team united with 5000+ people from over 185 countries. 

 

The April 2^nd forum is entitled:  GLOBAL-to-LOCAL - Reflections of U.N. Participation  by NC Students.  The Student Fellows, from NCSU, UNC-Chapel Hill and Meredith, will share their inspiring United Nations conference experience including what they learned, the new ideas and approaches to addressing challenges of rural women, the panels and presentations participated in, consulates visited, global contacts they made, and much more.   If you thought these ladies were enthusiastic when presenting at the NCSU February 16^th dinner forum   .  .  .  wait until you hear each reflect on their unique journey!!!

In addition, one of the 2012 WomenNC Student Fellows will be honored as the first Carolyn King WomenNC Scholarship recipient.
