status update 12/4

Hi, everybody-

Are we still doing status updates? If so, this week I completed
problems 1 & 2 of assignment 2. I published them to github:

Problem 1 took me a long time to figure out. Problem 2 was easier
because I could apply what I knocked my head against the wall forever
for in problem 1. :) The fun part of problem 2 was figuring out how
much to decompose it.

Hi Emily, 

Thanks for sending the update. I love hearing where you are in the class. I'm impressed that you were able to figure out Problem 1 all on your own. I definitely needed help on that one! 

As for the weekly updates, not many people post those, so I figured people can just post them if they want or just ask questions to the group if they have them. 

I'm really proud of you :)
