Bay Area Amazing Events!!

Hey Everyone, 

For those of you living in the Bay Area, there are a few cool events I wanted to share: 

  • Bay Area Girl Geek Dinner on December 1 - this is my personal favorite, free food and great company :) Get tickets ASAP, because they sell out fast!
  • Women Who Code Hack Night on November 14 - Great place to meet other women engineers and ask them any questions about homework assignments. I'm going to the early part of it. I recommend joining this group and coming to events regularly. For those of you who were at the brunch on Sunday, this is run by the amazing Sasha Laundy who you've met if you stayed a bit later.  
  • Startup Grind - this is an amazing Meetup to join to get more into the start-up scene and meet some amazing entrepreneurs. Their next meetup speaker is the Meetup founder, and they have some other great ones coming up. 
  • UX eye for the developer guy - this is another amazing Meetup that will get you thinking about how to create the best possible user experience for your websites / apps. They always have amazing speakers.

What a great events! :)  I wish I was travelling to SF these days..
I hope I can find some similar events in NY - going there for 2 weeks! :)

Thanks so much for sharing! A few were new to me. I love the WWC group. There was a brunch on Sunday? How did I miss that? Sigh

I have been a little out of the loop and been super busy the last two weeks but am hoping to finish up the first assignment this week.

Speaking of bay area events, I will be attending Start-Up Weekend this upcoming weekend.  Has anyone ever attended one and/or going this weekend???  I'm very excited for it and would love any input if anyone has been.
