Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all continuing the CS106A course. If you're not, it is never too late to start and we are all here to support you. If you are, you get a gold star :) I know some of you are also getting ahead in the class, so congratulations on that! It is the end of another busy week, so let's recap this week and start planning to learn for next week! I know it's Thanksgiving next week, but I really hope you take the time-off opportunity to catch up with the course. Here are some next action items / announcements:

Status Check - due this Sunday, 11/20
  • Please share where you are in the lectures / assignments and anything else you want to share - if you haven't started, tell us when you plan to get started, and if you're behind, tell us where you are and what you plan to do next. What do you think of the course so far? Do you have any tips to share? Any questions?
Suggested Assignments Week 4 - due next Sunday, 11/27
My Status
  • I finished the Hangman game, and I'm proud to say that I did not need any outside help from anyone to complete this assignment! Either I am getting better, or the class is actually getting easier. For next week, my goal is to finish Yahtzee :) I am also glad to say that I am really really enjoying this class and love programming. I am so glad I took this step to learn.
Happy weekend and can't wait to hear what all of you are up to!
Natasha

Also, I'll be coding this Sunday, so if you're in San Francisco, you're welcome to come over at any time, just let me know 30 min in advance. If you're not in San Francisco but would like to join, we can set up a Google Hangout - just let me know. If you're interested, join the conversation here: http://holler.to/tgSaPN

Happy coding!
Natasha
