Clean up at the Peace Center

The recent flooding in Cedar Rapids hit the Matyk building owned by Mike Richards, on the corner of 11th Ave and 3rd St SE.

This building is also known as the Cedar Rapids Peace Center, which has been the host for many of Women for Peace meetings and events.

Mike Richards says he has a solid commitment to the community to clean up and keep on.
He would welcome your help this Sunday June 19th at the Peace Center, to tear off damaged wainscotting and plaster walls. Drop in between 11 AM and 5 PM, bring tools such as crowbars if you have them.
