Hi Lisa:

In response to the elimination of entire staff at the national LIHEAP program (energy assistance), I have drafted this letter (below/attached) to the Wisconsin congressional delegation. Note: This is not expected to have an immediate impact on households given that Wisconsin received 90% of its funding for the fed fiscal year already, but going forward having zero staff is no way to run a national program and would hurt those struggling to make ends meet.

Please let me know if your organization wants to sign on to the attached letter re restoration of US HHS LIHEAP job reductions that threaten the viability of energy assistance provided to more than 180,000 low-income households across the state last year.
