Hello,

The U.S. Green Building Council and Alliance to Save Energy are proactively collaborating on this letter urging EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and key congressional committee leaders to fully fund ENERGY STAR in the upcoming fiscal year. I am reaching out in hopes that you can help us spread the word to businesses (not individuals), including manufacturers, homebuilders, building owners, non-profits, local governments, schools, and other organizations and industry leaders to sign the letter prior to April 7. More information can be found below.

Thanks in advance for your support and consideration!

Help us support ENERGY STAR!

In anticipation of potentially debilitating proposed cuts to the ENERGY STAR program at EPA, the U.S. Green Building Council and the Alliance to Save Energy have put together this letter urging EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and key committee leaders in Congress to fully fund ENERGY STAR in the upcoming fiscal year.

The intent of the letter is to demonstrate strong, nationwide business support for ENERGY STAR. As such, it is designed to be signed by companies, nonprofits, local governments, trade associations, and other organizations. We are not accepting signatures from individuals.

Here's how you can get involved:

  1. Read the letter here and please click here to sign on behalf of your company. The deadline to sign the letter is COB Monday, April 7.
  2. Share the letter to social media, encouraging your following to sign their companies/organizations onto the letter. Simply input your name, address, and email into this one-click campaign, press "Share," and a template social media post will pop up automatically.

When the Trump administration proposed eliminating ENERGY STAR in 2017, nearly 1,100 companies and organizations signed a similar letter of support. That letter played a key role in demonstrating widespread, bipartisan support for ENERGY STAR and helped to protect the program’s funding.

We hope to replicate that impact this year. Please join us by encouraging your company and your social media following to sign the letter today!
