The Principles of Intelligence (Princint) is excited to announce the very first PIBBSS Winter research fellowship!

Princint is an initiative focused on supporting AI safety research by making a specific epistemic bet: that we can understand key aspects of the alignment problem by studying complex and intelligent behaviour across a broad range of contexts, from varied perspectives. The PIBBSS fellowship is a ~3-month, fully funded program where fellows work on a project at the intersection of their own field and AI safety, under the mentorship of experienced AI alignment researchers.
The program is centrally aimed at Ph.D. or Postdoctoral researchers whose study bears on intelligent behavior, from fields such as evolutionary biology, neuroscience, dynamical systems theory, economic theory, political theory, legal theory, and more.
