
The Computer
Science Department at Emory University is continuing to advance research and
education at the frontiers of computing and data science, and seeks outstanding
colleagues.
Emory CS is a
vibrant department with high impact research in data-related areas including
AI, ML, IR, NLP, HCI, data/graph mining, security, privacy, and
high-performance computing. CS scholars collaborate extensively across multiple
disciplines including health, social, and natural sciences to explore computational
approaches to important challenges. Our faculty is passionate about
scholarship, teaching, and social responsibility. The Department is committed

advanced-tenure-track Assistant Professor
level, or at tenured Associate/Full

Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related
field. Research areas of particular interest include: (1)
Intelligent Systems (artificial intelligence, machine learning,
natural language processing, knowledge mining); (2)
Data Management (privacy/security, information
visualization/human-computer interfaces, data analytics); and (3)
Emerging Areas (e.g. social impact
computing, human-centered computing, HPC/exascale systems). We especially
welcome candidates who connect to current strengths in CS, and to the health, social,
and natural sciences
