Call for Tutorials & Skill Sessions: Deep Learning Indaba 2026

Dear all,

The Deep Learning Indaba is excited to announce its first-ever open call for Tutorials and Skill Sessions! We are looking for passionate individuals to share their expertise. 

What are we looking for?

• Tutorials (2 hours): Foundational, lecture-style sessions focused on core concepts (e.g., GNNs, Transformers, etc.).

• Skill Sessions (1 hour): Practical, hands-on "how-to" demonstrations (e.g., shipping production code, research writing, or MLOps).

In particular we are still looking for tutorials covering fundamentals, for example  an introduction to computer vision tutorial for beginners, but also other basic topics. 

• 🗓️ Deadline: 8th March 2026 (AOE)

• 📍 Location: In-person in Nigeria (with additional post-Indaba online opportunities!)
