CIBB 2026 introduces the Special Session “Computational Intelligence Methods for Complex, Compositional, and Longitudinal Microbiome Data in One Health.”
Microbiome data are high-dimensional, compositional, sparse, and dynamic. This session addresses methodological challenges related to normalization strategies, temporal dependence, intra-individual correlation, and ecosystem interaction networks.
The focus is on robust, interpretable, and scalable computational approaches within a One Health perspective, integrating human, animal, and/or environmental microbiome research.
Strengthening microbiome science through advanced computational intelligence.
