https://theadaptivemind-excellencecluster.de/, we combine state-of-the-art behavioral and neurophysiological research with approaches from psychiatry and clinical psychology, as well as quantitative analyses and computational modeling using artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics. Our goal is to measure and model the continuous adaptation of natural human behavior in a constantly changing and unpredictable world.
The Adaptive Mind is being established at the universities of Giessen, Marburg, and Darmstadt in collaboration with the University of Frankfurt and the Frankfurt Institute of Advanced Studies (FIAS) as part of the German federal and state governments' strategy for excellence. The Cluster comprises approximately 30 project leaders and approximately 50 early-career researchers and will run for a period of seven years.
