Senior Researcher in Machine Learning (Teachable AI Experiences)

Teachable AI Experiences (Tai X) team at Microsoft Research Cambridge (UK) is seeking a Senior Researcher in Machine Learning to contribute to a multi-disciplinary team that is driving innovation in AI through building, deploying, and studying novel human-AI experiences that imagine the future of inclusion. The team has a strong focus and track record of real-world impact and the ways it can motivate innovation alongside publications. 

The candidate will demonstrate thought leadership in innovating AI in ways that enable new applications for inclusion of people with disabilities and the larger social good. They may bring deep technical expertise in any of the following areas to further human-in-the-loop machine learning and intelligibility: computer vision, few-shot learning/meta-learning, Bayesian deep learning/uncertainty quantification. As a team effort, the candidate should possess strong communication skills to work across disciplines.
