Dear all,
We are pleased to invite you to submit your work to the 17th ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM-BCB 2026), the flagship conference of ACM SIGBio.
ACM-BCB 2026 will take place in Calabria, Italy, from June 30 to July 3, 2026. For the first time, the conference will be hosted in Europe.
The conference focuses on advances in big data, AI, and algorithmic methods for health and biomedicine, covering areas at the intersection of computer science, biology, medicine, and healthcare. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
AI and Machine Learning in Biology and Healthcare
Explainable, Trustworthy and Agentic AI
Large Language Models for Biomedicine and Health
Biomedical Imaging and Multimodal Data Analysis
Computational Epidemiology
Biomedical Knowledge Graphs
Health Data Standards, Ontologies and Data Spaces
Computational Drug Discovery and Multi-omics Integration
Security and Privacy of Health Data
This year, ACM-BCB introduces a two-phase review process. Authors will receive constructive feedback in the first round and will have the opportunity to revise their manuscript for a second-phase evaluation. Accepted papers will be published in a new ACM journal format and indexed in major databases (ACM Digital Library, Scopus, WoS, DBLP).
Submission tracks include:
Regular papers (8–10 pages, double-column ACM format)
Highlight papers
Poster papers
