We are thrilled to announce the inaugural UniReps workshop on Unifying Representations in Neural Models! Our workshop aims to explore the emergence of similar representations from diverse neural models, both artificial and biological, when exposed to similar stimuli. We will investigate the reasons, conditions, and methods behind this phenomenon and explore the potential for unifying these representations into a shared framework. Additionally, we will delve into exciting applications such as model merging, stitching, and reusing independently trained modules.
Our primary objective is to foster collaboration and idea exchange among researchers from Machine Learning, Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science. By bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds, we aim to create a platform for interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations.
The workshop will be held at
NeurIPS 2023 (subject to acceptance), and we are pleased to announce the participation of esteemed speakers.
We are actively seeking researchers interested in attending the workshop and joining us as part of the Program Committee or as additional speakers. Please fill out this form, if you are interested. Our goal is to encourage broad participation from all communities involved in Machine Learning, Neuroscience, and Cognitive Science, fostering a rich and valuable exchange of experiences among researchers from different cultures and institutions.
We eagerly anticipate your participation and the creation of a vibrant and collaborative environment at the UniReps workshop. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
