[CfP] Announcing GCPR 2026 – Call for Papers and Special Tracks

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the 48th DAGM German Conference on Pattern Recognition (GCPR 2026) will take place from September 22 to September 25, 2026, in Siegen, Germany.

Accepted papers will be published in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) by Springer. The best papers will also be invited to contribute to a special issue of the International Journal of Computer Vision (IJCV).

We are excited to share our Special and Additional Tracks:

Special Tracks

GCPR 2026 will feature several Special Tracks, each chaired and reviewed by domain experts, ensuring high-quality and relevant contributions:

  1.  Pattern Recognition in the Life and Natural Sciences: Focused on methods tailored to data-driven analysis and process understanding in these domains.

  2.  Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing: Encompassing state-of-the-art techniques and complex applications within photogrammetry and remote sensing.

  3.  Computer Vision Systems and Applications: Highlighting successful industrial applications of computer vision and machine learning with measurable performance indicators.

Additional Tracks

  *   DAGM Young Researchers' Forum: Master's students are invited to submit their thesis as a paper, providing an opportunity to promote their work, connect with prospective employers or Ph.D. supervisors, and compete for the Best Master's Thesis Award.

  *   Fast Track: For submissions based on previously rejected peer-reviewed conference or journal papers.

  

  *   Nectar Track: Present your previously published research from major international conferences or journals, providing additional exposure and networking opportunities.

  * [New!] Extended Abstract Track: Non-archival track for extended abstracts (4-pages), your chance to present recent/ongoing research as a poster.

- Regular Paper Submission Deadline: May 21, 2026

- Fast Review Track Paper Submission Deadline: July 7, 2026

Non-Proceedings Tracks:

- Extended Abstract Track Submission Deadline: July 7, 2026

- Nectar Track Submission Deadline: August 04, 2026
