Call for Papers: 6th Workshop on Bias and Fairness in AI (ECML PKDD 2026)

 

Dear colleagues,

I would like to warmly invite you to participate in the 6th edition of the Bias and Fairness in AI Workshop at ECML PKDD.

As AI systems become increasingly powerful and widely deployed—from Generative AI models to autonomous agents—the challenges of bias and fairness are evolving rapidly. Addressing them requires not only technical innovation but also consideration of legal, ethical, and societal perspectives.

This workshop brings together researchers and practitioners from different fields to discuss the latest developments in understanding, measuring, and mitigating bias across the AI pipeline, while exploring the broader implications of fairness in modern AI systems.

We hope you will join us on September 7th in Naples (Italy) for engaging discussions and exchange with the growing bias and fairness research community.

You can submit your full paper or extended abstract (of either ongoing or already published work) until June 5th (AoE).
