Open research positions at Facebook AI Research (FAIR)

Hello everyone,

I am part of Facebook AI Research (FAIR) at Facebook AI. Our group is currently focusing on a challenging problem of building Explainable Computer Vision models as we believe that it is critical to ensure any deployed ML models are explainable, responsible, and trustworthy. Specifically, our aim is to explain the reasoning behind a model's prediction to a layperson. 

As part of solving this larger, long-term goal, there are multiple high level problems we are working on including but not limited to VQA, image or video captioning, large-scale learning, visual search, weak-supervision, 2D and 3D spatial relationship reasoning, and compositionality. To this end, we are looking for experienced researchers in one of these topics as our goal is to advance SOTA in 1 or more of these areas in the next one year.

We have  three different kinds of positions available: full-time research scientists, full-time research engineers and visiting researcher/postdoc for 1-2 years. We are looking for candidates with the experience in 1 or more areas mentioned above.
