Dear WiML Community,
We are excited to announce that the application to become an organizer for Women in Machine Learning (WiML) initiatives in 2024 is now open! As a cornerstone of our mission, WiML is dedicated to advancing and promoting women and non-binary individuals in the machine learning field. This is your chance to lead and shape the future of our community.
2024 Organizer Opportunities:
We invite you to apply to organize one (or more) of the following initiatives:
This year, we aim to expand beyond conference-based programs to include virtual and local events and 1:1 mentoring, focusing on engaging our mid-career community members. However, we welcome applicants from all seniority levels. If you have a fresh idea or initiative you're passionate about, we are also open to new proposals and providing funding to bring these ideas to life.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for women or non-binary individuals enthusiastic about fostering a supportive and dynamic environment for our community. Ideal candidates have either attended or volunteered at past WiML events, but if you're new to WiML and driven to contribute, we would like to encourage you to apply.
Benefits of Being an Organizer:
Selected organizers will have their event/program expenses covered by WiML, including registration and travel. Additionally, organizers will join an esteemed network of current and former WiML organizers for unparalleled networking opportunities.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by Monday, March 4, 2024, by the end of the day (anywhere in the world).
