Black in AI Academics is excited to announce that the Emerging Leaders in AI (ELAI) applications, formally known as the Academic Mentoring program, are now open!
ELAI is a free, structured Ph.D. prep program that serves as a resource to support aspiring students as they apply to graduate programs, navigate graduate school, and enter the postgraduate AI/STEM field. If you are a dedicated and passionate individual with a strong interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in AI, this program is tailor-made for you.
The Emerging Leaders in AI program aims to provide aspiring researchers with the necessary tools, resources, and mentorship to succeed in their graduate applications. By participating in this program, you will be able to leverage the following:
Mentorship from leaders in the AI field
Application fee waivers
Application packets review (CV/SOP/RS/PS)
Structured approach to preparing you for a successful graduate admission
Cohort-style program experience
Mentorship from Leaders in Academia and Industry
Note: The program is designed to run for an entire application cycle (6 months). Participation in this program does not guarantee admission to any graduate programs, and it does not cover application expenses.
Participants are solely responsible for completing their applications and must make plans to cover any graduate application costs. The program will share resources on finding scholarships and fee waivers as they are available.
